Mary-Kate Olsen Reportedly Dating Nicolas Sarkozy’s Brother
Former child star Mary-Kate Olsen, one half of the Full House duo that captivated our hearts in the early 90s, is reportedly dating the younger brother of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Olivier.
According to New York Post, Mary-Kate, 25, and Oilvier, 42, are “head over heels” in love as sources for the paper spotted the happy couple together enjoying the Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons.
Mary-Kate, who “retired” from acting earlier this year and now runs a multimillion dollar fashion empire, previously dated artist Nate Lowman for over two years before splitting in 2010 and has been linked to hip-hop artist Kanye West, shoe designer Seth Campbell and the late actor Heath Ledger in the past.
As for Olivier Sarkozy, the Daily Mail reports he is divorced with two children and is currently the managing director for the Washington, D.C.-based asset managing firm the Carlyle Group.
The UK publisher added that Olivier also recently ended a relationship with filmmaker Stella Schnabel, which developed following his divorce from ex-wife Charlotte.
Representatives for Olsen and Olivier declined to comment on the dating reports.
Love, however, isn’t the only thing brewing for Mary-Kate.
Earlier this month the former actress found out she and twin Ashley are up for a Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the prestigious 2012 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
Their label The Row, a luxury apparel and accessory brand which features items such as a $39,000 croc backpack and $3,000 mini handbags, will battle it out with Marc Jacobs, Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez for the coveted prize.
