Charlie Hunnam In ‘The Lost City of Z’ With Sienna Miller, Robert Pattinson, Brad Pitt
Charlie Hunnam is a busy man these days. His role as Jax Teller in FX’s hit Sons of Anarchy is most likely going to be reprised in a prequel to the series, providing fans with a much-desired start to the story.
There are plans to cast megastar Brad Pitt in the major role of Jax Teller’s father, John Teller, and many fans have been wondering if Charlie Hunnam feels at all put out by being passed up for the major role. Charlie’s answer, as reported by Men’s Journal, was an emphatic no. In fact, he is delighted by the news of which actor will play his father.
“He’s trying to do a prequel, which I would love to see. Kurt is trying to get it going. Did you read that about Brad Pitt maybe playing my dad? Brad Pitt as John Teller. How awesome would that be?”
Charlie Hunnam is also working with Brad Pitt on another project. He is busy filming The Lost City of Z alongside the stunning Sienna Miller. The movie is coproduced by Brad Pitt and is based on the book of the same name that highlights the story of Col. Percy Fawcett’s efforts to find a long lost city in the Amazon in the 1920s. Benedict Cumberbatch was originally cast for the part of Col. Fawcett, but he could not commit to it because of the demands of his role as Marvel’s Doctor Strange and that of other work he has lined up.
With filming underway for The Lost City of Z, Charlie Hunnam and Sienna Miller have recently been seen in Belfast, where they have begun filming. Belfast Live reports they have had their share of difficulties with the rainy Irish weather. A source confirms it’s been a challenge.
“Wet wool doesn’t give off the best aroma – but the actors have just carried on. They’re real pros and they get on with it without complaint. No one expects brilliant weather when filming in Ireland, but there were times the rains gods really took the biscuit.”
However, the weather isn’t deterring fans who are out capturing photos whenever possible.

It seems that Charlie Hunnam is loved no matter what he’s filming. And when your producer is Brad Pitt and you’re starring opposite Sienna Miller and Robert Pattinson, life is pretty sweet!
