Xbox One To Release One Bundle Per Day Next Week

Xbox One will release not one, not two, but five new Xbox One bundles next week, from September 28 to October 2.

Xbox One, still behind PlayStation 4 on the charts, is desperately trying to boost their sales by coming up with countless Xbox One bundles and deals as we have seen for the past few months. Next week, Microsoft announced via the Xbox Wire that five more Xbox One bundles will be hitting the market, one Xbox One bundle per day for the whole week.

A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed, via IGN, that five Xbox One holiday bundles will be seen next week, just in time for the Christmas season.

“Every day next week… we’re unveiling a new Xbox One holiday bundle to complement our incredible lineup of existing bundles and greatest games this year. We’ll refrain from spoiling any details, but make sure to tune into Xbox Wire all next week to stay in-the-know on all the latest Xbox One offerings for this holiday.”

As of writing, what Xbox One bundles Microsoft will be releasing next week are still unknown and kept secret. But a couple of gaming analysts and websites are already taking a shot as to what kind of Xbox One bundles will be seeing starting Monday.

VG247 guesses that these bundles will be something related to the upcoming Xbox One exclusives, timed exclusives, or games that Microsoft has a standing marketing deal with. This would include Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Halo 5: Guardians. Actually, these are pretty solid guesses since these are the huge titles that Xbox One are holding off for the rest of the year.

One of our biggest bets will be on the Halo 5: Guardians bundle, since Microsoft has already announced that they will be revealing a Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition package sometime soon.

If we’re already taking which game bundles will most likely be included in next week’s Xbox One reveals, then it’s worth mentioning which titles probably won’t make it into the list. We do know Xbox One’s rival console PlayStation 4 has already announced PlayStation 4 bundles for a couple of games already and with a withstanding co-marketing deal with Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops III is one that might not make it into the Xbox One bundle cut.

We also know that PlayStation 4 already announced a Star Wars: Battlefront 500GB Bundle. The Limited Edition Star Wars: Battlefront PlayStation 4 Bundle will include a customized Darth Vader PlayStation 4 unit, a cool dualshock Ps4 controller, a copy of Star Wars: Battlefront, and a voucher containing four Star Wars classics: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

Well, but who knows? Maybe Black Ops 3 and Battlefront bundles will still come to the Xbox One.

Xbox One is banking that by releasing more Xbox One bundles, they will be able to increase sales. NPD Group analyst Liam Callahan told GamesBeat last month that game bundle sales have been trumping unit sales.

“Hardware bundles gained share of overall hardware sales in June. With [bundles making up] 35 percent of sales in June 2014 and now rising to 82 percent of sales in June 2015.”

Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming Xbox One bundles, what are they, and where to get them. We do know that GameStop has already stopped selling console bundles that include a digital copy of the games, so unless these coming Xbox One bundles will come with the physical copy of the game, don’t expect to get one at GameStop.

Some of the Xbox One bundles we already know of are the Xbox One Elite Bundle, Forza Motorsport 6 bundle, Xbox One FIFA 16 bundle, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
