Kim Zolciak Learning ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Routine In Hospital Room After Mini-Stroke
Kim Zolciak isn’t about to let a mini-stroke stop her from competing on this season of Dancing With The Stars. TMZ reports that Kim is learning her from her hospital room alongside her professional partner Tony Dovolani.
Zolciak suffered a Trans Ischemic Attack (TIA), also known as a mini-stroke hours after a recent flight. She lost the ability to speak and was temporarily paralyzed. She later posted two pictures of herself in a hospital bed and seemed to be connected to an external oxygen supply. Reports are that she has since regained speech and motion.

“Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up!” she wrote in the caption of one of the pictures. “Don’t let the oxygen scare you its just protocol.”
TMZ reports that Kim has not been cleared to continue her journey on Dancing With The Stars. The doctors want to continue to monitor her vital signs to be sure that she’s strong enough for so much physical activity.
According to E Online, ABC hasn’t made a statement yet about her status on the show, but her partner Tony has.
“After spending only a few weeks with Kim, it is evident of how much of a fighter she is,” he said. “Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family. We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”
Zolciak recently posted a photo Tony in her hospital room. She added this sweet message in tribute to her Dancing With The Stars partner.
“This guy @tonydovolani has been by my side for 2 days! He even brings me my favorite coffee. Although he is always dancing around the room lol he keeps me smiling! So blessed to be surrounded by such great people. Want to go home so bad! Hopefully tomorrow! #GoingStirCrazy #BlessingInDisguse.”
Zolciak’s husband, Kroy Biermann, was seen comforting her by her bedside. Kim also posted an adorable poster of her and Biebermann sleeping next to each other.

A TIA or mini-stroke occurs when the supply of blood to the brain stops briefly.Kim stated via Instagram that she experienced the syptoms of the mini after she took a red-eye from Los Angeles after the Dancing with The Stars live show.

Kim Zolciak is best known for her stint on The Real Housewives of Atlanta where she regularly clashed with then co-star Nene Leakes and the rest of the housewives.
