MTV Star Miranda Simms Disses Leah Messer On ‘Teen Mom 2′ For Not Respecting Her As The Twins’ Stepmother

MTV star Miranda Simms let her feelings for Leah Messer be known on last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2. According to a Us Weekly report on September 24, the MTV star and wife of Messer’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, was seen sitting in the car with Corey discussing her frustrations about not being respected as Corey’s wife or as a step-parent.

“I don’t understand. As much as I do for her kids and I get treated like this,” the MTV star told her husband.

The conversation between Corey and his fellow MTV star happened after they went to a local restaurant to meet Messer and discuss their upcoming battle over custody of Ali and Aleeah. While Corey and Messer planned to settle their differences out of court during their private meeting, Messer never actually went into the meeting. Instead, she and her friends turned around after seeing that MTV star Miranda was in the restaurant.

At the end of last month, Miranda’s husband took to Twitter, where he insisted both he and the MTV star had good reason to believe Messer was hiding a drug problem.

“Idk why I’m tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

The MTV star and Simms were married in June 2013, two years after Simms’ first marriage to Messer came to an end. In the years since, Miranda’s relationship with both her husband and his children has been documented for Teen Mom 2. Still, she feels that, despite her marriage and at-home life with Ali and Aleeah, she gets no respect from Messer. Messer, on the other hand, doesn’t feel that the MTV star should be included in discussions about her children — despite their having lived part-time with Miranda for the last two years.
