Shaq Gets Down And Covers Katy Perry’s ‘Firework’ [Video]

Shaq knows how to have a little fun. That much is proven by just taking a look at his Instagram feed.

The former NBA superstar took to social media to have a little fun with actor Randall Park, known for his role as Kim Jong-Un in The Interview. According to SB Nation, Shaq and Park got down with their bad selves and did a sample cover of Katy Perry’s hit song, “Firework.” 247 Sports added that the NBA on TNT analyst really got into the song, and the results were pretty hilarious.

From the looks of it, Shaq had a bit of a mess up early on considering Park is heard saying, “that’s not the chorus,” and laughing. They both quickly get back on track, only for Shaq to bust out laughing once again.

What did fans think of this little musical number? Just check out some of the Twitter chatter for yourself.

Other fans commented on the Instagram video, saying things like “Shaq, your a firework.”

Shaq may be a beast in most things he does, but that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t know how to sit back and laugh at himself. While many big name stars would refrain from making a fool of themselves on social media for fear of being mocked by the masses, Shaq seems to embrace it. Even when unfortunate little accidents happen, Shaq embraces the moment and laughs it off.

Take the recent incident this past May, when Shaq tripped while filming TNT’s Inside the NBA halftime show. According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, the former basketball star was standing up to walk over to the video board but ended up getting caught up in his microphone wiring, which caused him to fall to the floor, while both he and his co-hosts burst out laughing.

Of course, Shaq didn’t let it get him down. Instead, he took to Twitter to share the moment and laugh alongside his fans.
