WWE: The Four Rumored Opponents For Brock Lesnar At ‘WrestleMania 32’

WWE has completely shaken up their WrestleMania plans over the last couple of days, and one of the biggest changes that was to the Brock Lesnar match, as everybody believed that Lesnar would end up taking on The Undertaker in their third, and final encounter next April. Now, Lesnar and Undertaker will be having their final encounter at next month’s Hell in a Cell show.

So, who will Brock Lesnar end up facing at WrestleMania 32? Well, apparently WWE has four names in mind, and one of them will end up taking on Lesnar on WWE’s grandest stage.

The first, and really, the least surprising name is “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. The match between Lesnar and Austin was teased earlier this year by Paul Heyman on the Steve Austin Show, but, almost immediately after the WWE Network special, Austin said that he’s not planning on returning to the ring, and he has continued to deny that he’s returning in the following months.

Brock Lesnar is set to appear on the Steve Austin podcast on October 18, which has a lot of people thinking that the match between Lesnar and Austin will be hyped up some more. Furthermore, the site of that night’s RAW is Dallas, Texas, which is where WrestleMania 32 will take place. So, WWE could strongly hint on that show that Lesnar and Austin will be wrestling next spring.

The second name, which, like Austin, isn’t a surprise, is The Rock. WWE has been wanting to do Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock ever since Lesnar made his WWE return in 2012, and they even had the match planned a year in advance in 2013. Unfortunately, The Rock ended up getting hurt, and the match had to be called off.

The Rock has expressed his interest in wrestling at WrestleMania 32, and now that it looks like Triple H — who was The Rock’s orignal opponent — will be taking on Seth Rollins at the event, WWE could put “The Brahma Bull” in the ring with “The Beast.”

Seth Rollins is the next name on the list, as Rollins and Lesnar have unfinished business.

Rollins took the WWE Title away from Lesnar at this past year’s WrestleMania, but he never defeated “The Beast.” In their rematch at WWE Battleground, The Undertaker interfered, and helped Rollins escape with the WWE Championship.

As a side note, Lesnar is the early favorite in the odds to win the 2016 Royal Rumble match. So, if the odds are predicting the correct winner, and if Rollins holds onto the WWE Title for the next couple of months, that would mean that Lesnar will finally get his revenge on Rollins one year after the WWE Title was stolen from him.

Last, but not least, is Roman Reigns, who had a pretty good, hard-hitting match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.

WWE is interested in doing a Reigns vs. Lesnar rematch, as they want to have Reigns be the one guy who beats Lesnar clean. But, a clean win over Lesnar may cause the WWE fans to resent Reigns more than they do, and, since it’ll be a WrestleMania crowd, Reigns would likely get booed out of the stadium once again.
