Kendall Jenner Struggles With Caitlyn Jenner’s Transition, ‘It’s A Process’

In a sneak peek of an upcoming Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kendall Jenner, 19-years-old, explores her feelings about Caitlyn Jenner and why Kendall hasn’t yet met the woman who she still calls dad, with her big sister Khloé.

In the coming episode, which will be the “About Bruce Special,” Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn Jenner is revealed and the family has to tackle the complications it brings as well as their feelings on Bruce’s journey from male to female, as reported by E!.

Khloé told the camera in the short snippet that “our emotions are incredibly raw in this special and I think that it’s high anxiety for all of us.”

In the sneak peak, Khloé sat down on the couch with Kendall to ask her how she had been handling everything. To the camera, Kardashian said that Kendall had been struggling with her dad’s transition and was “all over the place.” Kendall admitted to her older sister that she hadn’t met Caitlyn yet.

“I’m alright. I feel like it’s a process. It’s something to get used to for sure. But the only thing is I haven’t met her.”

Kendall also revealed that it had been hard for her to let go of her father. Even in June, the Inquisitr reported that Kendall still called Caitlyn “he” when referring to her father. It has obviously been a struggle for Kendall to get used to seeing her father as a woman. Though Kendall still called Jenner “he,” she had only good things to say about Caitlyn.

“I think that he can honestly do so much good with everything and I’m excited for it. If he’s excited, I’m excited for him.”

Kendall told Khloé in the sneak peek clip that she felt meeting Caitlyn would force her to let go of her father. She admitted that she had put off meeting Jenner because she wasn’t ready to let go of Bruce just yet.

“It’s also a letting go thing. It’s like when you officially meet her it’s like he’s gone. I think that’s what I’m holding on to. That’s why I’ve taken so long to meet her.”

Khloé also revealed that she hadn’t met Caitlyn Jenner yet either and told Kendall that she agreed with her that the whole thing was a process.
