‘Real Housewives’ Cancer Drama: Vicki Gunvalson & Brooks Vs Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Tamra, & Meghan

When it comes to real drama, The Real Housewives of Orange County had more than an orange grove’s worth of excitement this season. But drawing in self-proclaimed old girls such as Vicki Gunvalson and the new ones such as Heather DuBrow, the biggest focus of RHOC has centered around whether Vicki’s ex Brooks Ayers has cancer, reported People.

As rumors continued to spread that Brooks was faking his cancer diagnosis, Vicki found herself the subject of heart-to-hearts with other Real Housewives, who felt duty-bound to discuss their views on Ayers.

“This is a group of people that love you and want you to have the very, very best,” insisted Dubrow.

Heather claimed that Brooks’ physicians lack the training to treat cancer, urging that Brooks display his medical history to the skeptical RHOC crowd.

Vicki later addressed the camera directly for her answer.

“It’s not any of Heather’s business,” asserted Gunvalson, showing her doubt that showing his medical records would really help. “You’re feeding a monster that’s never going to be full.”

As for Meghan King Edmonds, she revealed why cancer is so meaningful to her personally when she was out with Hayley, her stepdaughter. Meghan then mentioned how strongly she feels about the cancer battle that Hayley’s mother waged.

Tamra Judge also sought to make amends with Vicki subsequently. Although Gunvalson continued to refuse to respond to requests for details on Brooks’ cancer diagnosis, Vicki did request that Tamra take sides in Meghan’s push to scrutinize Brooks.

But Shannon Beador seems to be taking the situation very personally, in particular questioning why Brooks did not use the physicians that she researched for him.

“Ask Brooks. I’m done,” declared Vicki.

But although she seemed to stay strong, Gunvalson later wept over what she described as the betrayal of her friends.

“I’m trying to be as strong as I can be. I feel betrayed, I feel sad. When you’re a friend, you’re a friend. I don’t know how to end this, I just don’t.”

Brooks, however, sought to end the debate over whether he is faking cancer by talking with Entertainment Tonight.

Gunvalson’s ex was specific about the diagnosis of stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Brooks revealed that he will return to southern California next month for more treatments.

As for the accusations that Brooks is faking the diagnosis? Wrong, said Ayers, who feels that the Real Housewives of Orange County cast in general are drama queens.

“I think they do it to create drama — manufactured drama and that’s sad to me. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything.”

Heather Dubrow early in the summer voiced her suspicion.

“I think that the entire situation will definitely be tried by the court of public opinion, and things come out that are so bizarre,” declared the reality TV star.

But Ayers says he is undergoing treatment that has included IV therapy and supplements.

“[My] numbers were normalized,” said Brooks. “My lesion, my inflammations were gone… So I’m encouraged.”

But for RHOC star Vicki, the drama has ended in heartbreak as she feels that her friendships are dissolving over the Brooks’ brouhaha, reported Radar Online.

“Vicki isn’t talking to Tamra and is vowing to cut her out of her life for good this time,” revealed a source. “Vicki had been willing to give Tamra another chance after all of the divorce drama with ex-husband, Simon Barney, but this was the final straw.”
