Jennifer Garner Is Not Moving On From Ben Affleck Anytime Soon

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck might be putting their best foot forward in terms of moving on from their separation, but that doesn’t mean that Jennifer Garner is looking for love.

Since the pair announced their separation, it’s been said that the two are focusing on their family and putting the kids first. In terms of their public life in the media, they’re keeping their word, as Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been photographed many times together since the news hit back in June. They’ve spent Affleck’s birthday together as a family in Disney, attended church services, and just the other day, they were spotted without their children, chowing down on some sushi with friends in Malibu.

According to People, keeping a united front with Affleck means that Garner is nowhere near thinking about dating again.

A source close to Garner told the outlet, “Jen is doing well. She’s still adjusting to a new normal, but seems more accepting of the separation.”

The source continued that Garner “is taking a little bit more time to herself, and seems less stressed” than she was before. “She can’t even imagine dating. It will probably be a long time before she is able to move on romantically.”

Following the news of their impending divorce, Affleck only stayed in LA this summer for some Batman v. Superman duties, but then quickly jetted off to Georgia, where Jennifer was filming the movie Miracles In Heaven. While Garner was filming, the father of three was seen out and about with children, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Sam, 3.

Earlier in the week, Affleck returned to Georgia, where he was scouting locations for his next directorial film Live by Night, but soon after returned to Los Angeles to be close to his family. A source close to the couple said that he “has a really great time seeing his family.” It’s reported that Affleck drove daughters Violet and Seraphina to school on Friday.

At the time of their separation, the couple released a statement.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”
