Vicki Gunvalson likes to think of herself as the OG of the OC on Real Housewives of Orange County, but the series original’s constant anxiety in trying to defend a man who allegedly lied about cancer treatment and has used her funds to make child support payments.
Certainly it is embarrassed after being conned, so perhaps it’s time to take a break from Real Housewives? The Inquisitr reported that there is mounting evidence that Gunvalson’s now ex wasn’t being truthful about his diagnosis, and friends, family, and cast mates that might have supported her previously are running for the door. Sadly, Gunvalson traded all of those other relationships for an alleged con man.
Radar Online is now reporting that Gunvalson is giving long-time friend Tamra Judge the boot.
“If you’re my friend, you don’t talk about Brooks.” Judge responded, “That’s not what a friend is,” at which point Gunvalson suggested Judge not get involved in the sensitive discussion with others.
Entertainment Tonight says that Gunvalson is still on board and prefers to have the back of divisive Brooks Ayers than her friends of a decade. They are even now attacking Shannon Beador, who did nothing but offer help.
“I think they do it to create drama,” he mused. “Manufactured drama and that’s sad to me. I’ve distanced myself in a lot of ways from it. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything.”
Ayers goes on to call out each of the women by name and explain how all of them failed him and Guvalson.
On Monday night, Vicki Gunvalson sat at lunch with Shannon Beador and had nothing to talk about, because her whole life centers around defending Brooks. Perhaps the end of this season will have a much-needed cast change or two so that the atmosphere is not so neurotic.
Do you think Vicki Gunvalson played the victim all season, and do you think it’s time for her to leave Real Housewives of Orange County?
