Ariana Grande Didn’t Last Too Long In Fox’s New Show ‘Scream Queens’ [Spoilers]

Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Jonas — these are only a handful of high-profile names that were included in Fox’s Scream Queens season premiere last night. For those of you who have the show waiting for you on your DVR, you may want to turn away because there are some pretty good spoilers ahead.

Ariana Grande is only one of the big stars in Fox’s new horror drama Scream Queens, alongside Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis, and while the show promised viewers that the sorority girls of Kappa Kappa Tau were in some deep trouble, some were surprised when such a high-profile character was killed off in the first episode.

Ariana Grande makes up one of the four main sorority sisters that are currently part of the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority. They all reportedly have the same name, Chanel No. 1 (Emma Roberts), Chanel No. 2 (Ariana Grande), Chanel No. 3 (Billie Lourd), and finally Chanel No. 5 (Abigail Breslin). What happened to Chanel No. 4? Well, we aren’t quite sure about that one.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Scream Queen’stwo-hour premiere on Tuesday, September 22 was set during pledge week and goes back and forth between current day and flashbacks from 1994. The flashbacks reportedly take viewers back in time to the death of a Kappa sorority girl. When viewers are brought back to the present day, it is the 20th anniversary of her death, and strange things are starting to happen once again.

While there were many things that either left fans shocked or laughing out loud throughout this premiere, one of the rather “OMG” moments was when Ariana Grande’s character was killed off. Now, while it’s a bit surprising that such a high-profile character was killed off in the first episode, when viewers really sit down to think about it, it’s not that big of a shock, especially given the fact that Ariana’s character was labeled as the “airhead” of the group.

According to Billboard, Ariana’s character met her untimely end while she was actually texting back-and-forth with the killer, who has only been identified so far by his red mask and devil costume. What did fans think of Ariana’s untimely passing? Just check out the Twitter chatter for yourself.
