Meghan King Edmonds Accuses Brooks Ayers Of Doing ‘Anything For A Buck?’
Meghan King Edmonds has responded to a recent story, claiming her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Brooks Ayers, former boyfriend of Vicki Gunvalson, has attempted to sell text messages sent from Meghan King Edmonds to his ex-girlfriend during filming on Season 10.

Meghan King Edmonds’ tweet was shared just hours after a source told Real Mr. Housewife that Ayers had teamed up with the ex-girlfriend that Meghan King Edmonds had contacted during the show in an effort to make some fast cash.
During Season 10, Meghan King Edmonds confirmed to her co-stars that she had contacted Ayers’ ex-girlfriend in order to obtain information about his cancer diagnosis. In turn, claimed Meghan King Edmonds, she discovered from the ex-girlfriend, whose name was not revealed, that Ayers had allegedly faked cancer in the past.
Below is what the source revealed to Real Mr. Housewife regarding Meghan King Edmonds’ text messages.
“Brooks and his ex are both interested in making money off of the texts from [Meghan King Edmonds]. Publications have spoken to them about purchasing them. [But] there’s nothing juicy in those messages that would be of big public interest. That’s why no one has bought them/why they have not been released.”
During the same episode in which Meghan King Edmonds contacted Ayers’ ex-girlfriend, the newest member of the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County also contacted Ayers’ doctor, who she claimed doesn’t treat patients with cancer. In fact, Meghan King Edmonds has been questioning and researching Ayers’ cancer diagnosis for several weeks on the show, and leading the pack, so to speak, when it comes to raising questions about Ayers’ health.
Still, Ayers insists he is truly battling cancer, and in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, he slammed his co-stars, including Meghan King Edmonds, for insinuating he’s been faking cancer.
“I think they do it to create drama — manufactured drama and that’s sad to me. I’ve distanced myself in a lot of ways from it. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything.”
Ayers has also been active on Twitter, denying the accusations of Meghan King Edmonds and other members of the Bravo reality show.
