‘Nashville’ Season 4 Premiere Sneak Peek And Spoilers Tease Steven Tyler And Big Drama Ahead

Nashville returns to ABC with Season 4 later tonight, and there is big drama ahead for Rayna, Juliette, and the rest of the characters that make up the cast of this series.

Spoilers Guide shared a sneak peek released by ABC for Nashville Season 4 Episode 1, titled “Can’t Let Go,” on Tuesday, and the short clip just teases the drama ahead. The scene starts with Luke greeting Steven Tyler. He appears on the episode to duet with Juliette. After the two men chat, Tyler leaves, and Rayna enters the picture.

The tension between Luke and Rayna is still strongly felt, and Luke quickly asks her why she has flown out to see him. She flew out because Juliette called her to come out, and she informs him that he has kept Juliette on the road non-stop for a month. She has not had the chance to spend time with her husband or their daughter.

Juliette and Avery will have more drama this season. Entertainment Weekly shared some new Nashville spoilers about the pair on Friday.

“I can tell you that, at least in the first episode back, there isn’t a whole lot of communication between the two of them. Juliette is focused on two things: her career and partying. Meanwhile, you will get to meet Avery’s parents. As for their relationship, it doesn’t look great, though it’s clear they still love each other, so don’t lose hope just yet.”

Fans will see more of Juliette and Avery together during Nashville Season 4 Episode 2. Spoiler TV shared the photos released for the episode by ABC, and a large number of the photos feature Juliette and Avery. Juliette is also heavily featured in the photos shared for the Nashville Season 4 premiere by ABC.

In addition to the Juliette and Avery drama, many fans are wondering about the status of both Deacon and Teddy. Nashville Season 3 ended with Deacon on the operating table, and the possibility of his death has been the focus of fan speculation through the summer. Fans will learn of Deacon’s fate quickly during the Season 4 premiere, which picks up after a one-month time jump, according to TV Line.

A new poster released by ABC does feature Charles Esten, so there is one mark on the positive side for fans. Charles Esten spoke with TV Line for an interview released on Tuesday, and he was very tightlipped about Deacon’s fate. He did speak about the fact that Deacon and Rayna did not tie the knot before he was wheeled into surgery.

“She talked him back to reality a little bit, as she can so well. But then as he was being wheeled out, it’s not like, ‘OK, that’s done. I’m better now.’ [It’s more] ‘I’m going to have to trust you on this one, sweetheart, because I’m not feeling a thing you said.’ I understand all those reasons are why Deacon wanted it. But Rayna’s reasons are extremely valid, too.”

As for Teddy, fans will see more of Eric Close this season, according to another TV Line report. He “took one for the team” with his arrest at the end of last season, but he still shares something with Rayna. Eric Close is not a series regular anymore, but that does not mean he is off the show.

Nashville will air on Wednesday nights on ABC.
