Kim Richards Foot Injury: Is The Former ‘Real Housewives’ Star Taking Pain Pills?

Kim Richards injured her foot weeks ago, and now, fans are learning new details about the injury. On September 22, Radar Online revealed the new details, as well as what happened, claiming the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member received more than 20 stitches.

“[Kim Richards] was leaving the hotel where she was staying at night and she was walking out through a really big heavy door. The person in front of her didn’t hold it and it came flying back and swung and smashed into her toes. It split the skin between two of the toes.”

Kim Richards didn’t go to the emergency room at that point but later sought medical attention from her private doctor, who the source claimed gave her more than 20 stitches the following day. However, while Kim Richards didn’t go to the emergency room, her injury was reportedly quite serious. In fact, according to the source, Kim Richards nearly lost her toe, but after receiving care from her doctor, she is expected to make a full recovery.

“[Kim Richards] had the stitches out just a few days ago and her foot is healing well.”

Although Kim Richards’ injury was painful, the source confirmed the recovering alcohol has not taken pain pills since the accident.

“[Kim Richards] is focused on her sobriety so she isn’t… Kim has to use crutches most of the time. She didn’t for her birthday but she just walked really slowly and she can’t wear heels. She couldn’t do anything physical for community service.”

As fans saw on Instagram, Kim Richards enjoyed a night out in Beverly Hills over the weekend with several members of her family, including Brooke Brinson, Whitney Davis, Chad Davis, Monty Brinson, Kyle Richards, and Kathy Hilton and her husband, Rick.

Because Kim Richards was formerly estranged from her sister Kyle, their night out was a major surprise to fans. It doesn’t, however, mean Kim Richards will soon return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As Radar Online revealed in June, Bravo reportedly fired Kim Richards following her first relapse earlier this year.

According to the report, Kim Richards had become a liability for the network due to her questionable behavior, which includes a public intoxication arrest, during which she was accused of battery on a police officer, and a shoplifting arrest at a Van Nuys, California Target store.

Kim Richards has yet to speak publicly about her foot injury.
