Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Officially Over? Couple Aren’t ‘In Agreement’ About Wedding
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be postponing their wedding until further notice, but are Pattinson and Twigs planning to call off their engagement for good?
Just weeks after sources close to Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs confirmed the duo’s plans to postpone their wedding due to scheduling conflicts, new rumors are suggesting that Twigs is trying to back out of her engagement to Pattinson altogether.
According to an alleged “source” close to Pattinson and Twigs, the duo’s relationship “started to fall apart in mid-August” after rumors began suggesting that the couple has been spending too much time apart.
A source previously explained to People that while the duo “haven’t called off the engagement,” their wedding is currently “off the agenda” since Pattinson is currently filming his new movie, The Lost City of Z, in Belfast while Twigs remains stateside.
“They’ve definitely drifted and have barely spoken while he’s in Belfast and she’s been in the States,” the source explains, noting that Pattinson’s upcoming film schedule is “bound to create further distance between them.”
Similarly, a new report from Heat, via Gossip Cop, implies that Twigs is rethinking her engagement to Pattinson due to their growing time apart.
“They’re not on the same page when it comes to their future,” an alleged source close to Pattinson explains to the publication.
The insider goes on to allege that while Pattinson is ready to settle down and have a family with Twigs, the “Two Weeks” songstress remains solely focused on her music career.
“They were finding it hard to talk because of the time difference and how busy they both were,” the insider adds, referencing Rob’s current production schedule for The Lost City of Z.
The source adds that FKA Twigs “told Rob she couldn’t keep planning a wedding if they aren’t in agreement about the future.”
Despite the claims, Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for both Pattinson and Twigs who insist that the story is “not true” and that the couple is not planning on ending their engagement.
Similarly, a source close to Pattinson and Twigs recently explained to Us Weekly that the duo is “excited” to be married, but have chosen to delay their nuptials due to their busy careers.
“Twigs is still enormously happy with Rob and they aren’t rushing to have the wedding. They text and talk nonstop when she’s on the road and they are away for work. They are always talking when they can’t be together,” the source concludes.
