‘Dancing With The Stars’ Pair Bindi Irwin, Derek Hough Talk Partnership, Potential New Project Together
Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough are taking Season 21 of Dancing With the Stars by storm. This pairing is generating a lot of buzz, and DWTS fans loved their rocking performance on Monday’s show. Another dance comes Tuesday, but it seems Bindi and Derek are already talking about projects beyond this season. What’s the scoop?
E! Online shares the chat with Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin from after Monday’s show. Though the Australian teen has already done a wide variety of projects over the years, it seems her Dancing With the Stars partner has his eye on something new for her. Hough said that he wants to see Irwin get a new show all of her own.
Derek went on to joke that he’s appointed himself as Bindi’s new agent and manager, and he says he was even talking with network guys at an Emmy after-party Sunday night about his ideas. Bindi says, though, that any show created will need to involve both of them. They joke that perhaps it can be set in Australia and be titled Dancing With Tigers.
While the concept of a new show involving Bindi and Derek may not be all that serious an endeavor, they are due back with another dance on Tuesday’s episode of DWTS. They tease that they’re dancing to a beautiful, inspiring song in honor of Derek’s hometown. The dances on Monday were in honor of the celebrity hometowns, while Tuesday’s show brings fans to the hometowns of the pros. It is believed that Derek and Bindi’s second dance is a waltz.
One more couple will head home at the end of Tuesday’s DWTS, though it’s surely not going to be Bindi and Derek. Who is likely to be eliminated next on Dancing With the Stars?
According to the numbers over at PureDWTS, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is still in great danger, despite a stronger performance Monday compared to Week 1. However, Paula Deen, Gary Busey, and Victor Espinoza are at risk to an extent, as well. If it’s not Kim who is eliminated, many are guessing Victor will be the one bidding farewell.
There are several strong contenders in Season 21 of DWTS, as Tamar Braxton, Alek Skarlatos, and Nick Carter have all had strong performances already as well, and neither Alexa nor Carlos PenaVega can be discounted yet, either. However, a lot of Dancing with the Stars fans are really buzzing about the energy between Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough.
Could Bindi and Derek bring home the Season 21 DWTS mirror-ball trophy and make fans swoon by creating a new television project together for beyond this season of Dancing With the Stars? Fans would certainly love to see it happen and while the season has only just started, it’s shaping up to be a fun ride.
