Jennifer Garner Turns To Jennifer Aniston For Support Post Ben Affleck?

It has been reported that Jennifer Aniston has become a form of support to not only Selena Gomez, but now to Jennifer Garner, as Garner copes with the break up from Ben Affleck.

An insider shared details about the bond both Aniston and Garner share, and relays to Radar Online that the friendship has been as longstanding as Garner’s marriage to Ben was.

“They first met at the Oscars nearly 10 years ago and instantly bonded over being the two most famous Jennifers in the world at the time. They’ve always had time for each other so when Ben and Jen’s marriage fell apart, she sent Jen flowers and a bottle of wine, telling her she was there for her.”

As Design & Trend reminds, Aniston’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, left Jen back in 2005 for Angelina Jolie. Aniston is, therefore, able to relate to Garner’s tough situation in the face of claims that Ben has been carrying on an affair with the couple’s former nanny.

The source also imparted details as to how Garner has appreciated all of the support she has received from friends in the industry.

“Jen [Garner] feels so overwhelmed at all the support she’s been getting from some of the most powerful people in Hollywood. She’s been so brave and put up with so much, and it’s very clear she’s the most hands-on parent of the two. Jen [Aniston] has a lot of love for her.”

As has been reported in recent weeks, Ben has apparently taken responsibility for the tumultuous time Garner is experiencing and apologized for how the nanny scandal was revealed. An additional insider spoke on this matter to Radar.

“Ben took responsibility for his relationship with their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian, The relationship had started after the couple had already split up, but Jen was humiliated when the relationship went public. Ben was truly sorry when he apologized to Jen… and she thought it was a very good step moving forward.”

The circumstances that allegedly brought Ben and Christine together initially involved Christine’s feeling of inadequacy in the eyes of Jen. It has been reported, however, that the affair did not take off until Jen and Ben called it quits, as the second insider noted.

“Christine often complained to Ben that Jen was being overly critical of her work with their three kids, Jen had felt that she was being unfairly attacked by Ben, and couldn’t understand why at the time. They were trying to co-parent their kids but Ben was just being a real bear to deal with. Now she realizes what was really going on.”

It appears as though Jen and Ben are working through their difficulties and have been spotted looking content in each other’s company. A bottle of wine or two from Jen Aniston is likely still always welcome to Garner, however, seeing as the split and scandal have made international headlines over the course of months now.
