Harry Styles New Look: Stylish Chic Or Fashion Disaster?
One Direction star Harry Styles is normally thought to be the most stylish member of the band. Harry is fashion conscious and normally cuts a dashing figure, but the outfit that Styles chose to wear for a London Fashion Week party last night has certainly raised a few eyebrows. Harry and his band mates are currently in London for the final leg of their mammoth “On The Road Again” world tour. Styles and his band-mates Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne are enjoying a few days at leisure before returning to the stage at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday.
The Daily Mail report that last night Harry headed Love Magazine “Miu Miu” fashion party bash, held at Loulou’s in the swanky Mayfair area. Vanity Fair describe Loulou’s as “the London club for a new generation of England’s ruling classes.” It is currently the place to be seen. As Harry arrived for last nights party he seemed to be set on ensuring that he was seen. Gone were Harry’s trademark skinny jeans and man-bun. Harry decided instead to sport a suit in a black, yellow, and orange geometric pattern. It is fair to say that Harry was making no attempt to fade into the background.
Instead Styles donned a suit in a geometric pattern that MTV described as being like “one of those optical illusions” that you used to see in the newspapers. The sort of thing that if you relax your eyes and “stare at it long enough a dinosaur will appear.”
The Independent was even more cruel about Harry’s outfit saying that even styles stars sometimes get it wrong.
“The intensity of London Fashion Week might mean there’s increased competition in the style stakes, but Harry Styles clearly cracked under the pressure.”
The Daily Record described Harry’s suit as “the loudest we have ever seen.” The Mirror was a little more kind to Harry saying that he “looked as handsome as ever” in a “bold and bright suit” that is undoubtably the “loudest he owns.” Whilst at the party Harry mixed with the likes of Paloma Faith, Lily Allen, and model Abbey Clancy. Styles is also believed to have caught up with a rumoured former girlfriend, model Cara Delevingne, at the exclusive event. Perhaps Harry’s outfit was his way of showing Cara what she is missing.
