‘Tracy Morgan Ain’t S–t,’ Family Of Deceased Friend Bashes Comedian

The family of James McNair, Tracy Morgan’s late friend, wasn’t touched by his comeback speech and even blasted the comedian.

On his Facebook page, James “Jimmy Mack” McNair’s son, Jamel McNair, wrote:

‘Tracy Morgan ain’t s—t. People don’t even know the half, this public figure that they have so much sympathy for and they know nothing about is out on a pedestal because he’s a d— celebrity.”

Jamel “Jshyne” McNair also said being a celebrity doesn’t excuse Tracy Morgan from his obligations as a human. He added that the McNair family has never heard from Morgan since the fatal car crash that claimed the life of James McNair. The younger McNair continued to vent in his scathing Facebook post.

“If I had a friend who died in an accident with me in the car…My best friend’s children would be the first ones I reach out to.”

“There’s no excuse for this type of behavior… My sister and I have yet to hear from Tracy Morgan and that’s real. Send a smoke signal, give a call, text – send a d—pigeon.”

In an interview with New York Daily News, Jimmy Mack’s sister Pamela said, “I understand it’s been a great ordeal for Tracy over the last 15 months. I just feel in some form or fashion, he should have acknowledged my brother – his mentor – because he lost his life.”

Jimmy Mack’s sister also said that it would have taken Tracy Morgan only a minute to acknowledge his friend and mentor. “He has children, siblings, a big family all bearing the same pain,” says Pamela McNair.

James McNair, 62, died in the car crash on June 7, 2014. The six-vehicle New Jersey accident nearly killed Tracy Morgan and four other companions.

In his Emmy speech, Tracy Morgan thanked his new wife, his family and his doctors for helping him throughout his 15-month recovery from the accident that gave him broken bones and a serious head injury.

“It’s been a long road back. I suffered a traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for eight days. When I finally regained consciousness, I was just ecstatic to learn that I wasn’t the one who messed up,” said Tracy Morgan.

“Only recently I’ve started to feel like myself again, so, which means, a whole lot of y’all women are gonna get pregnant at the after-party, ” he joked.

Tracy Morgan’s jokes delighted the Emmys audience, but the McNairs aren’t laughing.

“You take the Emmy stage and give a speech and tell jokes in front of thousands of people. But you don’t show up to celebrate the life of your best friend,” Jimmy Mack’s son wrote on his FB page.

Tracy Morgan and his representatives haven’t responded to requests seeking for comment on the issue.
