Whether you fly out to Anaheim later this year or you attend BlizzCon 2015 virtually, a number of in-game goodies will await ticket holders. All of the rewards were officially announced on the Battle.net BlizzCon website and will be claimable once BlizzCon 2015 begins. Across each of the popular Blizzard games, players will have access to pets, mounts, portraits, and more if they purchase a BlizzCon 2015 ticket.
BlizzCon 2015 will be held on November 6 and November 7 in Anaheim, California later this year. The official BlizzCon website indicates that attendees will enjoy game-related panels, a number of eSports competitions, and more whether they physically attend the convention or view it online via Virtual Ticket. Those that do make their way to California will be able to try the latest version of many Blizzard games while the convention runs.
Of course, all attendees will receive the in-game items listed. A Murkidan pet, a battle pet themed after Illidan, is the World of Warcraft item. Heroes of the Storm fans will receive a Nexus Battle Beast mount for use on characters that can ride atop it. A Blizzard 2015 Card Back skin will be added to players’ options in Hearthstone. Two new portraits will be usable for StarCraft II owners, and Diablo 3 players will receive three items for use in their game. A BlizzCon Pennant, a special murloc pet, and a unique portrait will be available to BlizzCon attendees.
BlizzCon 2015 should be exciting for everyone involved for fans of any of Blizzard’s major titles. Although Legion, the next World of Warcraft expansion, is already announced, fans are likely to see some type of World of Warcraft preview or feature at the convention. The expansion will raise the level cap to 110, add the new Demon Hunter hero class, introduce new artifact weapons, and much more according to the Inquisitr. Moreover, as the two-year anniversary of the first Diablo 3 expansion approaches, many nephalem are hoping another expansion is on the way. BlizzCon 2015 would be a perfect place to announce something like that.
Not to mention, the third installment in StarCraft 2‘s trilogy will release just days after BlizzCon giving those that attend the convention an early crack at what is to come. Blizzard’s new IP, Overwatch, will likely be discussed as well as Blizzard’s entry into the film industry with the Warcraft movie.
Will you be attending or watching this year’s BlizzCon?
