MTV EMA Nominations: Taylor Swift Leads With Record-Breaking Nine EMA Nominations

The MTV EMAs are just around the corner and this year is proving to be a record-breaking year for one young singer.

According to People magazine, the MTV EMAs are still just over a month away, but the list of nominations has been published, and by the looks of it, Taylor Swift could be in for one heck of an evening.

The “Bad Blood” singer reportedly has been nominated for a record-breaking nine awards for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, including Best Song, Best Video, and Best Female Artist. According to USA Today, Justin Bieber came in at a close second with a total of six nominations, including Best Pop Artist and Best Male Artist.

Taylor Swift has had one heck of a year as it is, but to take the record for most MTV EMA nominations is still quite a feat. Three of her nominations are for her song and video for “Bad Blood,” including Best Video, Best Collaboration, and Best Song. Taylor also is nominated for the following categories: Best Pop Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Live Act, Biggest Fans, and Best Look.
