‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Writing Tell-All Book
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is jumping on the bandwagon and following in the footsteps of her fellow co-stars. Jenelle says she is working on a tell-all book about her life, which just might be the most interesting of all the Teen Mom memoirs.
The Christian Post reports that Jenelle Evans’ book will be a bit different from her Teen Mom counterparts. Evans, now a mother of two boys, has been through a lot of drama in her young life, including having an abortion, being addicted to drugs such as marijuana and heroin, and going through a divorce, just to name a few.
Jenelle reveals that the book will basically be an autobiography of her life, and she’s even including some of her childhood journal entries to show just how she was feeling in her youth.
“It’s an autobiography of basically me before Teen Mom when I lived in Pennsylvania and then when I migrated down to the South. It has all the details from before filming, behind the scenes, when we took breaks in between, and stuff like that. Basically a tell-it-all book.”
Jenelle Evans reveals that she wants her fans and critics to understand how hard she had it when she was a child, which may account for some of the struggles she’s dealt with as a young adult.
“I just want them to see that I had a rough life growin’ up. I would like to share my experiences with them and hope they can relate to my story. Hopefully they can see the truth to some of the rumors that [have] been out there in the past or currently.”
The International Business Times reports that Jenelle does not yet have a title for her book, but she hopes it will help others as well as help them understand her.
Meanwhile, Evans’ tell-all book will be just the latest in the Teen Mom book trend. In the past, Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Kailyn Lowry have all successfully published their memoirs with great response from fans.
Unfortunately for Jenelle, she is one of the most harshly judged Teen Mom stars, so it will be interesting to see how readers perceive the book and if they will have a better understanding of Evans after digging deeper into her life and reading her own words.
