‘RHOC’ Vicki Gunvalson And Brooks Ayers Break-Up — Vicki Defends Brooks Against Her Costars Who Claim He Is Faking Cancer
In the upcoming episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki Gunvalson remains firm in her stance that Brooks Ayers has cancer, even though more of her co-stars are beginning to doubt it. In fact, in a recent promo video released by Us Magazine, Gunvalson defends her ex-boyfriend’s cancer in a heated conversation with Tamra Judge.
The video begins with Judge trying to make amends with Gunvalson for what she previously dished to Meghan King Edmonds.
“First of all, I want to say to you — and I would say it to Brooks if he was here — that I’m sorry for going at him as hard as I did… I was kind of upset. So I kind of got hit with, ‘Wait, are you calling me a liar?’ Brooks should have never said that. He made a mistake by saying that.”
However, Vicki Gunvalson wasn’t ready to accept Judge’s apology. “[Judge] has a track record of mixing up information,” Gunvalson stated. “I mean, why Tamra even went to Meghan with this information is beyond me.”
The question of Ayers cancer really ramped up in the last installment of the show after Edmonds finally exposed her evidence that, according to her, proves Ayers is lying. In gathering her evidence, Edmonds contacted an ex-girlfriend of Ayers, who confirmed that he was lying about cancer.
“Meghan has gone above and beyond trying to prove Brooks wrong… But I’m here to tell you what everybody’s saying. I don’t want you to get defensive, I don’t want you to get mad… it’s [just] starting to wear on me, and it’s like shit, does he have cancer, is he lying?”
Despite Judge’s argument, Gunvalson remained adamant that Ayers has nothing to prove. “What does he have to do, die to prove somebody wrong?” she stated.
Meanwhile, as the drama continues to unfold during this season of the reality show, Gunvalson has managed to continue to back Ayers, even though the two have officially announced their break up.
At the same time, all the fighting over whether or not Ayers has cancer might be starting to wear on Gunvalson. The reality star recently posted a message on Instagram that indicates she is getting tired over the whole situation.
“Me after filming #RHOC this year,” Vicki Gunvalson posted alongside a picture of a woman in a bathtub. “I am Woman, I am Invincible, I am Tired…” the photo read.
