Ariana Grande Lets Down Her Hair, Shows Off Her Natural Curls [Photos]
Ariana Grande is finally letting her hair down. The 22-year-old singer has been seen wearing her signature ponytail and half-down, half-up hairstyle for the past few years.
Ariana Grande is showing off a new look, just in time for her upcoming Moonlight era. She took to Instagram to show off her naturally curly hair. Grande has been the center of controversy for not changing her hairstyle. The “One Last Time” singer has addressed the reason for wearing a ponytail on social media, saying that her hair has been damaged from dying her hair red as part of her role as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Sam & Cat. Now Grande is able to show the world her beautiful new look.
Ari shared a photo of herself rocking her natural curls in a side-swept hairstyle. She included the caption: “peekaboo healthy curls long time no see.” Ariana hasn’t been seen with her natural curls in a long, long time. She was last seen rocking the look when she was an up and coming teenybopper.
She followed up her post with two new videos, which she captioned: “Took us a while to get these babies back but they’re here. Feel like my old self again!!! Thank you @dalinaway for taking such good care of my hair every day.” The videos show Grande making a pouty face with her lips as she showed off her natural curls.

The pintsize diva’s hairstylist even reposted Ari’s collage of photos to her own Instagram page. Dalina Rebollo captioned it: “I really feel bad for taking credit for this because this is her natural texture and this look was truly effortless. Wow this cute has me loving life every day.”
This comes on the heels of reports that claimed that Grande was suffering from hair loss. One of her alleged hairstylists told OK! Magazine that her signature ponytail was only making her hair problem worse rather than better.
“Her hair is a mess – what’s left of it, anyway. It’s destroyed at the ends, and the reason she scrapes it back into a high ponytail all the time is because it’s kind of patchy on top.”
The stylist even told the tabloid that Ariana is unlikely to change up her hair anytime soon. It looks like that tabloid report was just a rumor, after all. It looks like Ari is eager to try out different hairstyles, now that her hair is returning to its healthy state.
