Amy Schumer Wears Zac Posen To 2015 Emmys, Prepares For The Big Night

Like many TV stars, Amy Schumer made an appearance at tonight’s Emmy Awards. The Trainwreck star reportedly wore Zac Posen to the televised event, held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Amy Schumer was styled by celebrity stylist Lisa Evens. She wore a sexy curve-hugging forest green Zac Posen gown on the red carpet at the 2015 Emmy Awards. Schumer also brought her sister, Kim, along as her “date.” The two talked to Ryan Seacrest about a script they’re co-writing with Jennifer Lawrence. Schumer and Lawrence have been making headlines for their fast friendship and their adventures. They were last seen dancing on Billy Joel’s piano at a concert this summer.

Ryan Seacrest asked Amy how they joined Billy Joel on stage. She joked, “Honestly, I’ve been a groupie for years.” Amy also wiped some sweat off Ryan, since he was perspiring in the hot Calfornia sun.

Schumer is best known for her television show, Inside Amy Schumer, along with her summer smash hit movie, Trainwreck. Schumer will be one of tonight’s presenters at the Emmys.

The funny lady is also up for more than one statue with four nominations at this year’s Emmys, including outstanding lead actress in a comedy series, outstanding writing for a variety series, outstanding directing for a variety series and outstanding variety sketch series for Inside Amy Schumer. However, a report via the Daily Mail says that Schumer is up for eight, not four nominations. Meanwhile, other media outlets have referred to her as a multiple nominee. Last year, Schumer was nominated for outstanding writing for a variety series.

The actress took to social media to share a video of herself wearing a pink ballgown and riding to the awards show in a Cinderella-style horse-drawn carriage. She tweeted a message to followers. “See you at the Emmys!” Schumer also showed fans how excited she’ll be when she finally gets to meet actress Tatiana Maslany.

Amy also gave fans a glimpse of her preparations for the awards show. She shared a photo of herself with her glam squad, which showed her munching on a piece of toast. Amy also made a funny face in the photo, but showed off her natural beauty when she appeared make-up free in the photo, as previously noted via the Daily Mail. The actress’ blonde hair was also pulled away from her face, as her hair was getting styled for the big event.

The comedian took to Instagram to share a photo of Gollum from The Lord of the Rings, to show that she’s getting glammed up for the big night. Schumer captioned the photo, obviously joking. “I love it! Thank you to my team #emmys.”
