Louis Tomlinson And X-Factor In Shock Attack By Bitter Walsh
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson shot to fame back in 2010 in Simon Cowell’s reality TV show X-Factor. Tomlinson, together with band-mates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik were brought together as a band after losing out as solo artists at the “boot camp” stage of the hit show. Tomlinson and his pals reached the final of the show but placed third. During One Directions time on the show Louis Walsh was a judge on the show.
Walsh lost his spot on X-Factor after a boss decided that a shake up was necessary to freshen up the show after viewing figures dropped during the last season. Despite a change of presenters and the entire judging panel X-Factor is still losing viewers and is faring poorly against it BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing. As a result of the falling ratings it is widely believed that Simon Cowell has called on Louis Tomlinson to join the show as a mentor when it reaches the “judges houses” stage.
Now, in an extraordinary turn of events, Walsh has attacked both Tomlinson and X-Factor. According to the Mirror, Walsh claims that Cowell should not bring Tomlinson into the show as he claims that Louis is “the least popular member of One Direction.”
Cowell is said to be concerned about X-Factor’s plunging ratings and is believed to have asked Louis Walsh’s advice. The Sunday Star reports that Louis claims that Simons “cliched remarks are boring viewers” and that the new judges lack “the fun factor.” Unsurprisingly, Louis also claims that the show was more fun when he was on the judging panel with Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.
One Direction fans will not be amused at Louis’ personal attack on Tomlinson. 1D fans are renowned for supporting the members of the band, and they will doubtless rally round to show their support for Tomlinson.
As has been widely reported, including here on Inquisitr, Tomlinson is facing a tough time at the moment. Louis is set to become a father for the first time early in the new year and has been subjected to unfounded rumours that he may not be the father of Briana Jungwirth’s baby. Tomlinson is also believed to be facing something of a family crisis, as his natural father is believed to have attempted suicide. Louis is believed to be aiming to concentrate on his newly formed record label when One Direction goes on hiatus in March of 2016.
