Jill Duggar Dillard Has Baby-Related News As Pregnant Jessa Duggar Seewald Talks ’19 Kids’ Spin-Off After Scandal

Are Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, getting ready to announce that a brother or sister will be arriving soon for Baby Israel? Not exactly. But fans of the couple did get excited when Derick posted on social media a hint of Duggar-baby-related news, reported People.

“Exciting things are happening in our family,” tweeted Derick.

Jill’s husband then followed up by proudly sharing what the 19 Kids And Counting star has accomplished.

“It’s official; my wife is a midwife!” shared Dillard. “I am so proud of her for her diligence, perseverance, and hard work to see this long road through to its end and reaching her goal of becoming a CPM.”

A CPM is a Certified Professional Midwife, according to the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM).

“The CPM is the only midwifery credential that requires knowledge about and experience in out-of-hospital settings,” according to the organization.

CPMS care for women during their pregnancy, and offer customized attention.

For Jill, the accomplishment means that she can contribute her new skills to the South America mission work in which the couple has been immersed.

The 24-year-old provided the Duggar family with a note of cheer following the scandals that have rocked the 19 Kids And Counting family, including the cancellation of their show in July, reported Us Weekly.

Those scandals started in May with the news that Josh had molested underage girls when he was a teenager. Both Jill and Jessa Duggar were among those he molested.

Then the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar again was in the news when data resulting from the hacking of the cheating website Ashley Madison showed that he had accounts, resulting in his admission of porn addiction and infidelity. Josh is now in a Bible-based rehab, as the Inquisitr reported.

But both Jill and Jessa have sought to move on.

Jessa has been sharing her blossoming baby bump on social media to emphasize that she and her husband, Ben Seewald, are looking at the positive side of their life, reported Hollywood Take.

They don’t know yet if it’s a boy or a girl.

“We’re keeping our nursery very neutral because we have a tiny house and out baby’s room is also going to be our guest room, so we’re keeping it neutral,” revealed Jessa.

In addition, she noted that she’s longing for ice cream. Jessa and her husband plan to raise their baby with a focus on faith, and she emphasized her appreciation for learning that lesson from her parents.

“As Ben and I are looking forward to being parents in the next couple months I just think that [there] are so many things that I learned from you that I’m really looking forward to implementing in my own home,” said Jessa as part of Michelle’s birthday video.

But among the positive comes the shadow of the scandal.

Although Jessa joined Jill in initially championing Josh after the molestation reports, she now has separated herself since the scandal about his infidelity and porn addiction. And when Jessa’s father-in-law Michael Seewald slammed Josh for his infidelity, Jessa shared that scornful message.

In addition to determining her relationship with her older brother, Jessa reportedly is considering seeking a TV spin-off. Insiders said that because Jill had a TV special that focused on her own pregnancy and birth, Jessa anticipates one too. But in the wake of the family’s subsequent scandals, it’s not known whether her dreams will be dashed, said an insider.

“Jessa would have liked to have had the same sort of platform to give thanks, show what a miracle she feels her child is and express her gratitude. The show isn’t there to chronicle this happy time, and even though she’s posting on social media, the scandal still gets brought up by commenters. So much has changed for Jessa compared to what Jill experienced, and it can’t be changed back. And that’s sad for her.”

However, Ben’s husband did admit that he would consider a 19 Kids And Counting spin-off if it focused only on their own family.
