Former ‘RHOC’ Grethen Rossi Cancels Wedding Again, Real Reason She Keeps Delaying Wedding To Slade Smiley

Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley have put their wedding plans on hold once again, leaving many wondering if the former Real Housewives of Orange County stars will ever get married. With that in mind, an inside source recently told Radar Online that the couple have delayed plans due to work projects and not because they are having relationship issues.

“The reason that the wedding has been postponed so many times is not because they have doubts that they are meant to be together, but because they are both working on a lot of projects right now… Gretchen just launched a purse line and she and Slade are pitching several different ideas to various networks for projects that have them both on camera and behind-the-scenes.”

The source added that the two former reality stars are still doing great in their relationship, and a wedding will happen at some point.

“They are definitely still getting married and are very much in love. Why else would they do Marriage Bootcamp together?”

The comments from the insider back up what Gretchen Rossi said in a recent interview with OK! Magazine. “At this point I have a lot of great projects going on in my life and I’m excited about moving on to the next thing.”

One of Rossi’s projects includes a venture into the cosmetics industry. In an interview with Arizona Foothills Magazine, Rossi explained how her own fans inspired her to launch her own line of cosmetics.

“… I had so many of my fans tweeting and emailing me saying, ‘what kind of makeup are you wearing? You look really pretty in this scene’ or ‘what kind of lipstick do you have on?’ so I started responding to some of my fans… They would write back and say ‘Oh my gosh, that’s so much money! I could never afford $150 for foundation.”

Based on the strong reaction she received from her fans, Rossi realized she had a chance to make a difference. “I started realizing there was this need in the market for high quality makeup at an affordable price,” she said. “That’s what really inspired me was the fans, they inspired me to start the cosmetics line.”

While Gretchen Rossi is launching her own line of cosmetics, and both she and Smiley are looking to get in front of a camera once again, it isn’t clear when, if ever, the two will actually find time for a wedding.
