Pamela Anderson, Ring Auctioned For Charity, Poses Nude & Dishes Vegan Diet & ‘Baywatch’ Swimsuit [Photos]

Pamela Anderson is auctioning off her ring for a good cause. The vegan actress famed for running sexily down the beach in Baywatch recently explained the significance of removing that ring, as the 50-year-old star posed nude and dished on topics ranging from her vegan diet to her love for animals.

Regarding why she’s auctioning off her jewelry, Pamela recently got divorced from Rick Salomon. And so, as the first step in moving on, Anderson chose to contribute her engagement ring to charity, reported People.

“I hope this very special Tiffany engagement ring can bring joy to someone while I put the donation to great use. One hundred percent of funds raised will go to The Pamela Anderson Foundation [dedicated to human, animal and environmental rights].”

In addition, Pamela revealed that her foundation is launching an eBay charity store. Anderson plans to offer items ranging from autographed books to memorabilia. But, Anderson didn’t indicate anything can measure up to that Tiffany & Co. ring.

The jewelry includes a 3.24-carat round brilliant cut diamond stone ringed by more diamonds. The total weight is.46 carat, and the starting bid is a mere $100,000.

Although Pamela Anderson admits breaking up is hard to do, Anderson has focused on moving on since marrying and divorcing Salomon twice.

And auctioning off that engagement ring is just part of looking to the future.

“I embrace my age. It’s about feeling good about what you have,” declared Pamela. “I actually feel like I look younger and younger.”

To carry out her statement, Anderson posed nude for Flaunt magazine.

Pamela did more than take off her clothes for the publication, however. Anderson also discussed her desire to make the vegan way of life more mainstream, including a cookbook on which she’s working. It takes its cue from her show, The Sensual Vegan.

Increasingly famed as an activist, as well as an actress, Pamela has devoted more than two decades to using her foundation for causes such as working with PETA.

But Anderson hasn’t turned her back on her Baywatch past.

The actress admits that she’s still known for her famous, sexy figure displayed in a red swimsuit on Baywatch.

“I do feel kind of like the Malibu mascot. I walk around and people are like ‘there she is!’ Or just walking down the beach, and being in the water and everyone waving at you like they know who you are.”

And for those who wonder whether Pamela still has a red swimsuit, Anderson confesses that she still has that memory secured in material form.

“I have one, and it’s in my safe,” Anderson revealed, speaking about her Baywatch beach bathing suit.
