WWE News: Update On Sister Abigail Character Finally Coming To WWE To Be Part Of The Wyatt Family

When it comes to The Wyatt Family, there’s an upside regarding the future of the group. You can plug people in here and there and have them go off on their own from time to time. This was done last year when Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt, and Luke Harper all sort of split up. Harper had the most successful singles run, and he went on to win the Intercontinental Championship twice.

WWE decided to pair the trio back up, but Rowan got hurt. This led to WWE bringing in Braun Strowman. It is said that even if Rowan wasn’t hurt, Strowman would have been part of the team regardless. That would have made for three big men to help do the bidding of the false prophet known as Bray Wyatt. While Rowan could be back with the family within the next few months, another name has kept coming up a lot in creative: Sister Abigail.

Abigail is spoken highly of by Bray, but there is little known about her. All we know is that she is someone from Bray’s childhood who taught him many of the things he tries to brainwash people into believing now. According to Daily Wrestling News, WWE is considering bringing in a Sister Abigail character to be part of the Wyatt Family.

A few people have been considered for the position. It was rumored that Bray’s real-life sister Mika Rotunda would potentially play the role. To add fuel to the fire, she had a tryout with WWE months ago. It was thought that she went out for an announcer role, but WWE could very well want her to do other things. Seeing as she is easy to recognize as a sister of both Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, eventually WWE would have to relate them on television.

Interestingly, Bray doesn’t want Mika to play the role of Sister Abigail if they bring it to television. The reason for this could be the same reason Bo Dallas has never been brought in to be part of the Wyatt Family. Bray apparently wants everyone to do things on their own.

Seth Rollins tried to push for his girlfriend, Zahra Schreiber, to play the role. WWE seemed to be against it, which is why she ended up as the “sister” to Solomon Crowe. In the end, it worked out for the best, as Zahra ended up getting fired for social media trouble she caused all year.

It is uncertain who WWE will use for the role if they decide to bring it to TV. However, it is in preliminary discussions to be on WWE programming. When we might see it is currently unknown. However, it might not be until a major PPV. WWE Survivor Series seems like a good place for most things like this to be brought up.
