Vikings Fan Beaten Brutally By 49ers Fans

Disturbing and violent video, showing a Vikings fan being beaten, has surfaced on the internet. The fan was attacked by crazed 49er fans after the teams played on Monday Night Football. The incident has gone viral and sparked major outcries from the public.

Since the video went up, it has been viewed over 1.5 million times, according to a report by CBS Minnesota. In the video, 49er fans are seen punching and kicking the man. A member of the security company contracted to work the 49ers games tries to break up the fight and eventually the Vikings fan walk away. It’s unclear how serious his injuries may have been.

Brandon Cosio, a 49ers fan, uploaded the video. It has since been taken down from his Facebook page. He had a different story of what happened to the Vikings fan. His thoughts are reported by Niners Nation.

“I’m seeing a lot of comments talking bad about the 49er fans without actually knowing what happened, so here’s the full story: The Viking fan in the video and a 49er fan NOT in the video were talking smack to each other, getting into each other’s faces. A lot of fans from both sides were telling both people to stop and just walk to their cars. The 49er fan then walked away from the situation and that’s when the Viking fan may have got a little cocky.”

Brandon went on to describe the brawl that took place.

“The Viking fan turned around and addressed everyone behind him(mostly 49er fans). He said ‘what’s up, any of you f**kers want some?!’ At that point everyone went silent for 2 seconds then as the Viking fan was turning around to walk away, the 49er fan in the black (at the beginning of the video who threw the first punch) tackled him to the ground. That’s where the video starts.”

Santa Clara police, from the area around Levi Stadium, where the 49ers play, say they have no idea who the Vikings fan is. But they are looking into the situation to find out who the involved parties are.

In 2011, a 66-year-old Bay Area man was beaten outside Candlestick Park after a 49ers game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The man, Manuel Austin, lost three teeth, suffered a concussion, and needed stitches to close wounds inside his mouth. No criminal charges were filed.

Yet another sad tale of emotions going haywire after a football game.
