Duchess Kate has officially returned to her public duty after four months of maternity leave. According to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton rocked her new hairstyle (she has bangs!) and a black and white Ralph Lauren dress when she visited the Anna Freud Centre this morning. All eyes were on the mother of two, who paired her look with Stuart Weitzman “Power” pumps, and looked effortlessly flawless, as per usual.
“The Duchess of Cambridge was happy and relaxed, looking tanned and toned after a low-key summer break out of the public eye. Her visit to the Anna Freud Centre will enable her to learn more about how the organization is helping to change mental health care for children and young people,” reports Us Weekly.
Duchess Kate was greeted by the staff when she arrived at the Anna Freud Centre around 11:30 a.m. local time. She was taken inside for a tour as part of her first solo public engagement since giving birth to Princess Charlotte back in May. The Duchess of Cambridge will be heading to a construction site (or soon-to-be one) where the centre is planning to open a “Community Campus.”
According to the Mirror, Kate met with children at the facility about an hour ago. The Duchess has truly been dedicated to different children’s charities and programs, not unlike her husband, Prince William.
As for how she is feeling, sources say that Duchess Kate is doing really well.
“This summer has been their quietest so far in terms of being able to just focus on family life and keep themselves tucked away out of sight. It was so nice to be able to go to Anmer after the birth of Charlotte and not be seen for a while,” shared a source (via Us Weekly), adding that Kate Middleton is “refreshed and full of energy” these days.
