Justin Bieber Performs Surprise Acoustic Show In Paris For Hundreds Of Fans [Video]

Justin Bieber performed a surprise show for fans in Paris, France, on Wednesday, most of whom faithfully waited in the rain for hours to catch a glimpse of the pop prince.

The 21-year-old superstar played an impromptu acoustic show, backed by longtime guitarist and musical director Dan Kanter, outside the city’s NRJ radio station, where he was later interviewed by famed host DJ Cauet.

The Biebs is currently on a whirlwind European promo tour in support of his worldwide smash comeback single “What Do You Mean?” and upcoming November-dropping album.

The singer’s Paris visit follows interviews in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.

Before kicking off his acoustic show, Justin was snapped leaving the Royal Monceau luxury hotel amid a convoy flanked by 10 bodyguards. Photos and video reveal he delighted smartphone-wielding screaming fans who trailed his Mercedes by sticking his head out of the sunroof.

After arriving at the NRJ radio station, Justin excited the fans by popping out to say hello before he sang. The Canadian last put on a street performance in Paris in 2012 when he famously sang on a balcony.

Fast forward to yesterday’s surprise set, the singer romped through hits including “Mean,” “As Long As You Love Me,” “Boyfriend,” and the lesser known Journals cuts “Hold Tight” and “All That Matters.” Fans sang along with the hoodie-clad star. [Scroll to the bottom for videos.]

Hours before hitting up the radio station, the heartthrob updated his Twitter page, writing “I love Paris,” followed by another tweet letting fans know where he was headed.

During Cauet’s interview, he and the pop star played a game in which the heartthrob was grilled and could either answer or decline by sliming or throwing ice cubes on the host.

Mariah Carey was Justin’s response to a favorite female singer question, which will come as no surprise to those who heard his cameo on the songstress’ recently leaked “Infinity (Why You Mad?)” remix.

Post-show, the Biebs retweeted video snippets from his time in Paris and teased his next destination with a message playing on his collaboration with Jack U’s Diplo and Skrillex, writing, “I ask myself… Where are U now?”

The answer — as first revealed by the singer’s videographer — is London. U.K. Beliebers will doubtless be watching to see which part of the city the young star rocks up in. Word is, Amsterdam is next. After that, fans will have to wait and see.
