Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Relationship Future Uncertain: ‘I’ll Forever Support Him And Love Him,’ Gomez Says

Selena Gomez has not completely dismissed the possibility that she could get back together with Justin Bieber, according to an interview that she recently gave to Elle Magazine.

Gossip Cop reports that Gomez openly discusses the status of her relationship between her and Justin Bieber in the magazine article.

“I’ll forever support him and love him in a way that… We grew up together. I think people want it to be different.”

Gomez was also quick to dismiss rumors that there was any drama going on between them.

“We’re too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no… I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner.”

She was also quick to deny that her song “Same Old Love” is about any relationship she’s had in the past.

“Sometimes you’re stuck in the same cycle. This is kind of my ‘forget it’ song. I’m sick of all of it.”

The focus on her love life has left her pretty exhausted Selena says. When she looks back at her last performance at the American Music Awards, she recalls that the main topic of conversation was her relationships.

“Everybody was talking about the same thing: my relationship,” she said. “I said, I want this [performance] to be the last time I have to talk about this. And acknowledge this feeling. I was kind of devastated. I was like, ‘This is all I have right now. This is gonna be it. And all I want is to move on.'”

Selena performed “The Heart Wants What It Wants” that night, and the reception was generally positive.

“That’s why, from this point on, I know I can prove myself, you know. I haven’t scratched the surface yet,” she explained.

According to E! Online, Selena Gomez admitted that she’s started dating again. She’s posted some very cute pictures of herself with DJ Zedd, someone she’s reportedly collaborating with in the studio.

But she wants to make it clear that she’s still keeping the focus on her growth as a person.

“Finding somebody is not my main focus,” she explained. “I’ve dated people. I’ve been on a few dates, which is really exciting. But I’ve never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that. I have my guard up. I like to meet people in organic settings. Hanging out with a group of people and meeting through mutual people.”

But don’t worry, #Jelena fans. When asked if she would ever be in a romantic relationship with Beiber again, Selena Gomez said, “I don’t know.” According to the article in Elle, she laughed before she answered the question and practically shouted her response.
