The new video has gone viral after being posted to Facebook and YouTube and has almost one million views when this article was written. In the sweet clip, the unsuspecting husband is getting ready to receive a major surprise: a positive pregnancy test concealed inside an Apple Watch case.
The wife — identified as Catie Reay — tells her husband, Chad, a U.S. Army veteran, to keep his eyes closed and not peek as she gets the camera ready to film the special moment when he gets to see the pregnancy test.
“Don’t peek,” she tells him. “I’m dead serious. Don’t peek. Are you peeking? OK, you hold them closed…”
Chad laughs nervously without suspecting a thing. While his eyes are closed, Catie explains her intentions behind the very special birthday present.
“I got you something that I wanted us to be able to share together,” she says and then hands him the Apple Watch box for him to open. “This is a gift that has been hiding in plain sight for a while.”
Chad still thinks it is the fancy Apple Watch he is getting, without imagining he will soon get a huge shock with the presentation of the positive pregnancy test.
“Oh, is this that watch?” he asks. “Really?”
He continues to open the Apple Watch box, and then he finally sees what’s actually inside the box, and it’s not a watch. Catie has hidden her pregnancy test. His reaction at first is surprise, and he says, “WHAT? Are you serious? Are you serious?” He keeps repeating himself until the full weight of the news hits him, and he breaks down crying.

The couple is seen in several Facebook photos with two very young kids, and one more is on the way. The pregnancy test video has earned Catie over 200,000 shares and many comments.
