Beverly Hills Residents Terrorized By Reckless Driver Who Claims Diplomatic Immunity [NSFW Video]

Beverly Hills residents called police to report two men who were driving expensive cars recklessly through the residential upscale neighborhood. One of the men is believed to be a member of the Qatar royal family, and is claiming diplomatic immunity.

In a chilling video posted to YouTube, two very expensive cars — a yellow Ferrari LaFerrari and a white Porsche 911 GT3, according to the Los Angeles Times — are seen pulling out of their parking spot on a Beverly Hills residential area. The vehicles are followed by a black SUV, who is presumably a security detail for the drivers.

As soon as the drivers pull out, they screech their tires loudly while onlookers take pictures and film footage. The noise of the cars racing down the quiet Beverly Hills neighborhood is heard while the drivers get away.

Later on, the video continues, and the Ferrari and Porsche are seen ignoring a stop sign, racing right past it. It was providential that an accident didn’t take place at that moment.

Several Beverly Hills residents captured the entire incident and, when the cars finally return to the home, four men are seen looking at smoke coming out of the Ferrari. Police arrived after a few moments, and two officers are seen standing on the sidewalk, by the home. However, they’re not seen speaking to either driver.

LAPD Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said Beverly Hills residents called to complain about the reckless driving. A man, who claimed to be the owner of the expensive cars, approached the officers and denied running the stop sign and speeding.

“That individual claimed to have diplomatic immunity,” Hoshino said.

“I could have you killed and get away with it,” the man allegedly told NBC4 video journalist Jacob Rogers, who said the man confronted him over his filming.

“He told me verbatim, ‘I could have you killed and get away with it,’ I told him, ‘the press is allowed to be here on the sidewalk on a public street.’ He said, ‘(Expletive) America’ and threw a cigarette at me.”

Police is investigating the Beverly Hills reckless driving and have reached out to the State Department, according to Jalopnik.

“It’s in the hands of the State Department now. Honestly, we don’t even know who was driving the Ferrari. All this driving occurred outside the presence of the police.”

As to the diplomatic immunity claims, police confirmed the owner of the expensive cars is, indeed, protected. Beverly Hills residents are hoping authorities can do something about the reckless drivers, but no charges have been filed at this time.
