Kim Zolciak On Her ‘DWTS’ Flop: ‘I Still Have Feelings’

Kim Zolciak was excited to start filming Dancing with the Stars. Kim had been practicing her moves, and Zolciak showed off her skills in a short video that surprised many. However, when Zolciak went out on the dance floor for the first time, she was stiff. Kim panicked and ended up walking instead of dancing. And while the judges were not impressed, the viewers were harsh. They felt that her low scores of 12 out of 30 were justified.

But Kim Zolciak is now sharing that she had low scores because she was nervous. Zolciak didn’t feel comfortable on the dance floor, and she was surprised that people were so harsh. Kim even broke into tears in front of the judges. This was not the strong-minded Kim that fans know from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy.

According to a new Radar Online report, Kim Zolciak is now speaking out after the results from Monday’s performance have settled in. And Kim has plenty of excuses as to why her performance was so lackluster.

“I am really proud of me. I put the time in,” Zolciak said after her poor salsa performance with her partner, Tony Dovolani, adding, “To get out there on the dance floor is a lot. It’s one thing to film a reality show, be yourself and get paid for it! It’s a different thing to walk out on stage, in front of millions of viewers and shake your bum bum.”

Apparently, Kim didn’t cry in front of the judges because she was sad over her scores or because she knew that she had just bombed her performance. Zolciak reveals that she cried because she was proud of her accomplishments, even though she had the lowest score of the night.

“I accomplished this!” Kim insisted, adding, “It’s overwhelming for me. No matter how big my personality might be on television, I still have feelings.”

And it sounds like Zolciak knows that she has to step up her game if she wants to stay. Kim has been practicing with Tony and even showed a video of them practicing on Monday night. It sounds like she is determined to go on, even though her first performance was the worst of the night.

But Kim isn’t completely alone in the bottom. Paula Deen, Chaka Khan, and Gary Busey didn’t impress the judges either, and they have just a few more points than Kim.
