Ariana Grande Slams Jimmy Fallon In ‘Tonight Show’ Music Game

Ariana Grande and Jimmy Fallon took on some all-time artists in The Tonight Show‘s Wheel of Musical Impressions game Tuesday, and the duo produced some fantastic knock-offs of the artists they copied, Entertainment Tonight reported Wednesday.

The competition between Ariana and Jimmy was to impersonate the famous musician singing a different song than the selected artist had performed. Grande drew challenging female vocalists Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Celine Dion, nailing the musical styles each artist has unique to the repertoire.

Jimmy would not be outdone by his talented 22-year-old musical guest. Fallon performed as Aaron Neville and Sting, drawing rave reviews from the audience in attendance for the show.

On the final performance of the night, Ariana Grande belted out “Can’t Feel My Face” as the Dion. Jimmy Fallon joined in on the song, performing as Sting might have tackled The Weeknd hit.

In addition to playing the musical game, Ariana also told Jimmy about her upcoming single. To her fan’s delight, Grande announced to Fallon that the single “Focus” would be available for purchase on October 30, Hollywood Life reported.

Ariana didn’t only discuss music on the show. Grande also dished to Jimmy about her upcoming television series Scream Queens. Grande will star along with other top actresses, including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Glee alum Lea Michele. Both Roberts and Grande are trying to build an audience for the Fox series through web-only content entitled Between 2 Queens.

“Focus” won’t be the only song fans can scoop up from Ariana October 30. That’s also the set release date for We Love Disney, a compilation of top artists performing musical numbers from Disney movies. Grande is tackling “Zero To Hero” off the animated movie Hercules.

Since taking over The Tonight Show, Fallon has been adding numerous games for guests such as Ariana to play. Recently, Jimmy took on Ellen DeGeneres in an epic lip sync battle, and the results were a hilarious win for both fans and the stars alike.

Fallon also had Robert De Niro and band Duran Duran on The Tonight Show Tuesday. After the show, Jimmy took to Twitter to thank his guest for her appearance.

Ariana’s little brother Frankie didn’t reciprocate the love for Fallon, however, after their competition.
