Brooks Ayers After Being Accused Of Faking Cancer On ‘RHOC’: ‘Everyone Makes Mistakes’

Brooks Ayers has been accused of faking his cancer diagnosis throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. According to many of his co-stars, including Heather Dubrow, Tamra Barney, and Meghan King Edmonds, his diagnosis and treatment plan don’t add up.

Although fans won’t know for sure whether or not Brooks Ayers, the former boyfriend of Vicki Gunvalson, has cancer until the end of the season, as he’s revealed (in tweets to fans Brooks Ayers has confirmed his medical records will be seen), the speculation continues into his stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and on Tuesday, he shared an odd tweet.

On September 15, Brooks Ayers shared a meme on Twitter, which read, “Everyone makes mistakes in life, but that doesn’t mean they have to pay for them the rest of their life. Sometimes good people make bad choices. It doesn’t mean they are bad. It means they are human.”

In response to his meme, Brooks Ayers wrote, “Agreed! Despite what others may say, my future is not defined by my past! #cancersux #StayPositive #maketodaycount.”

Although it may have seemed as if Brooks Ayers was admitting to past mistakes, he continues to assure fans on Twitter that his diagnosis is real, and, in addition to his medical records, Bravo will soon air footage from one of Brooks Ayers’ doctor visits on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Brooks Ayers’ co-star, Edmonds, was seen confronting him over allegations of spreading gossip about her marriage to Jim on Monday night’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and also on Monday night, Brooks Ayers faced off with Tamra Barney.

On next week’s episode, the story line surrounding Brooks Ayers’ cancer continues, with questions from Dubrow, who feels his cancer claims have been questionable. Gunvalson is also confronted by Tamra Barney on next week’s show, and during their conversation, Barney claims the entire cast is doubting Ayers’ cancer — including her.

Brooks Ayers claims to have been diagnosed with cancer in late 2013, and while he previously underwent chemotherapy, he has since taken on an alternative approach to cancer treatment.
