Kim & Khloe And Kylie & Kendall Release New Apps, But There’s A Catch

Kim Kardashian and her sisters have launched thei,r own apps. If you haven’t had enough of Keeping Up with the Kardashians or the Jenner clan, then this will come as good news.

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner launched their own personalized apps and websites on Monday, September 14. Each sister’s app and website reflects their personal style, as they had a hand in the designing process.

The famous Kardashian and Jenner sisters previewed and talked about their new business venture at the Apple Store in SoHo on Monday. Kourtney Kardashian was also there in attendance, but her app and website will not be released until announced.

Kim explained that much like their personalities, their apps couldn’t be any more different from each other.

“We love a lot of the same things, but have different passions. Kylie loves makeup and her dogs and her house. Kendall runs all over the world modeling and has amazing adventures. Kourtney has a mom life so that’s inspiring. Khloe is fitness, and mine is more fashion and tutorials. We all have different personalities. But this is an extra in-depth look at our lives.”

The apps were created by the tech and media company Whalerock Industries. There is a catch though. Although each of the apps are free the download, the Kardashian and Jenner sisters aren’t giving the content away for free. Fans will have to pay $2.99 per month to access each of the sister’s apps and websites.

In addition to the new apps, the brand-new websites KimKardashianWest.com, KhloewithAK.com, TheKylieJenner.com and KendallJ.com will offer both free content for fans and exclusive content for subscribers. Fans can also download the apps from each of their websites.

So which sister’s app is worth the money? We’ll break it down for you.

Her personalized app and website focuses more on fashion tutorials. Kim will also do live Q+A for her subscribers, give access to special events, have special giveaways, shopping and style tips, rare photos, and personal diary posts from Kim herself.

Khloé With a K:

Khloe’s app mostly focuses on health, fitness, and beauty. It’s no surprise since she’s been showing off her work out videos on Instagram. According to a previous report via Us Weekly, she showed her fans her “OCD way” placing cookies inside a cookie jar. Khloe will also give her subscribers organizational tips, access to special events, rare photos, live streaming videos, shopping and fashion tips, and beauty advice. Think of it as a lifestyle app, just Kardashian style.

Kendall J:

The $2.99 per month subscription fee will give you exclusive videos of Kendall backstage at Fashion Week. She’ll also share random videos of herself going through her closet and having fun with her famous friends. There is also live streaming videos from Kendall and exclusive photos you won’t see on her Instagram account. She will also do an “outfit of the day” kind of thing where she tells you who’s she’s wearing and wear to buy it.

The Kylie Jenner:

The Kylie Jenner app includes three features: radio, looks, and lyfe. Radio is just a basic feature that features some of Kylie’s favorite artists such as Fetty Wap. No word if Tyga’s music is also featured on the app. The “looks” section shows Kylie’s paparazzi photos, including links where to purchase the clothes she’s seen wearing. The “lyfe” section includes behind-the-scenes videos of her photo shoots and her beauty tutorials.

Each of their websites is obviously impressive when it comes to looks and design. But it looks they’re lacking in exclusive content, but more could come as time goes on.

Kylie Jenner has been beating out her sisters when it comes to her app. It even surpassed Facebook and Instagram. Kylie’s new app has been dominating Apple’s iTunes Charts as of Monday night. Kylie even took to Instagram to share her excitement and to thank her fans for their support.

In fact, Kylie’s app was so popular that it was starting to crash. She quickly took to Twitter to let her fans know that the situation was being handled.

As of Tuesday, September 15, Kylie Jenner and Khloe Jenner’s apps are taking over the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in Apple’s AppStore. Kim and Kendall round out the top four list.
