Playboy Party Schools 2015: Raise Your Red Solo Cup To Top 10 College Party Schools, From Ohio To Michigan [Video]

Playboy has rolled out the top party schools of 2015 beer barrel list. And although Playboy made some students give a rah and raise their red solo cups high, other student bodies will need to console themselves on a place such as Bong Hill. So who can celebrate ranking on top of the top party schools in the United States?

Congratulate Ohio University, which Playboy rated as the number one on its party schools list for 2015, reported USA Today.

It’s a dramatic contrast to the top party schools list in 2014, where the University of Pennsylvania rocked itself to the top. However, Ohio U has advantages such as an enormous Halloween block party and 18 bars situated conveniently close.

Going into the issues that decide which institutions of higher learning make it on the list, Playboy includes more than the party lifestyle. Schools listed in 2015 also had to be close to musical events and use their imagination when it came to putting together their social get-togethers. Playboy has been issuing the annual lists since 1987.

And when it comes to getting the coveted number one spot, some factors can result from a state’s laws. For example, one reason that Ohio University made it to the top of the Playboyparty schools rankings in 2015 was “Bong Hill,” where students can smoke freely as a result of the fact that the state has decriminalized marijuana, pointed out UPI.

With a bountiful bar ambiance, University of Iowa nabbed the second spot on the Playboy party schools list. And thanks to those spring breaks, Florida State University took ownership of the third spot.

The rest of the list includes Tulane University, University of Illinois, University of Texas, Syracuse University, University of Wisconsin, University of Mississippi, and the University of Michigan, and Playboy feels that each has something special that merits its inclusion on the party schools list for 2015.

Tulane, for example, gets bonus points for Mardi Gras. While that ultimate party scene isn’t year-round, the French Quarter still draws students, thanks to the open-container policy.

Then there’s Syracuse. After Princeton Review ranked it on top, some feared that the resulting backlash from the school administration would detract from the party ambiance. But thanks to music festivities coupled with parties such as the Phi Psi’s “Heaven and Hell” bash, it still made it on the Playboy top party schools list.

And for those who think that cold climates freeze out the party, the University of Wisconsin party crowd proves them wrong.

“Beer, cheese and frigid climes equal a good time,” declares Playboy.
