Bobby Brown: Kristina ‘Called’ By God After 6 Months Of Hoping, Praying

Bobby Brown has opened up about losing his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, in an emotional, touching interview. According to CNN, Bobby Brown said that he and his family prayed for Bobbi Kristina for months, but when it was her time to go, it was her time to go. Brown says that Kristina was “called” to God and that she had to leave this world because of his will.

“We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen. But when God calls you, he calls you,” Bobby said, adding that he will always remember his daughter’s beautiful smile. “I mean not just because we have the same smile, the same gap and everything, but her smile and just her graciousness with loving people. She was so kindhearted. She always took care of her friends. After 22 years of her life… I’ve really learned a lot from my daughters.”

Bobby Brown said that Kristina, who died in July after being found unconscious in a bathtub inside her Georgia home back in January, was called by her late mother, Whitney Houston, who died in a similar manner back in 2012. Many people feel as though Bobbi Kristina was trying to recreate her mother’s death, and that she wanted to die the same way her mom did, as she was completely torn up about losing her mom and never quite healed from that pain.

Bobby Brown says that he believes his ex, Whitney, had something to do with Bobbi Kristina’s passing — in a spiritual way.

“I’m pretty sure her mother… had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here’ — in the best way possible,” Brown explained.

He said that losing his daughter has not been easy. Every day has been “a process” since her passing, but he’s doing the best he can right now.

Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia Etheredge, welcomed a daughter together two months ago. Brown looks at this as a blessing and is thankful for the gift.

“God was gracious enough to give me a baby girl… you know, after losing one,” Brown said.

After losing Bobbi Kristina, Bobby Brown says that he leaned on his wife to help him through. According to ABC News, Bobby Brown has started the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House in honor of Bobbi Kristina.

“It’s for young girls and women of all ages to have place to come when in bad relationships. I feel it’s needed,” he said.
