Michael Madsen Stars In ‘The Hateful Eight,’ New Movie Posters Reveal Character Lineup

Collider rolled out its latest poster for Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie, The Hateful Eight. The new poster features Michael Madsen in the character of the cowpuncher, Joe Gage. Posters of six of the eight major characters have been previously released, including Jennifer Jason Leigh (Daisy Domergue), Bruce Dern (General Sandy Smithers), Tim Roth (Oswald Mobray), Kurt Russell (John Roth), Chris Mannix (Walton Goggins), and Bob (Demian Bachir). The Hateful Eight debuts on Christmas Day and is directed by Quentin Tarantino. A movie trailer was released in August.

As reported in Movieweb, The Hateful Eight takes place several years after the Civil War. John Roth is a bounty hunter called the Hangman, who is taking his prisoner, Daisy Domergue, to Red Rock for trial. He is joined by Major Marquis Warren, a former Union soldier and now a bounty hunter, and Walter Goggins, who claims to be the town’s new sheriff. Unable to beat a storm that’s coming in, they stop at a stagecoach stopover, where they are greeted by the other four. With a deadly storm coming in, they might not make it out alive, and not everyone is who he/she says they are. It includes an star-studded cast featuring Channing Tatum of Magic Mike and James Remar of Dexter.
