Caitlyn Jenner, Kris Jenner Kiss And Make Up On ‘I Am Cait’
Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner finally talked for the first time on Sunday night’s season finale of I Am Cait.
After seen having a tearful conversation on last week’s episode of I Am Cait, they were seen finally getting along on in the new episode, which aired on Sunday night, September 13.
Caitlyn, 65, seemed like she really wanted to make things right. She asked Kris, 59, if they could start spending more time together as friends. “Are we going to start hanging out together?”
“Sure, you can come over for a drink,” Kris said in the video, which was shared by E! News.
“Go shopping?” Caitlyn asked with a serious look on her face.
Kris smiled and responded, “Let’s not get carried away. I just want to get to a place where it’s comfortable for us to share celebrations together.”
Caitlyn Jenner appeared to be satisfied with their emotional sit-down. She told the cameras that although her and Kris still don’t see eye-to-eye, they’re open to being friends.
“I don’t really agree with everything she said, but communication is always good. Maybe it will be a little different in the future now. I hope it is because I want to keep my relationship with all my kids. That’s the most important thing.”
Things got kind of awkward when Kris asked Caitlyn about her rumored girlfriend, Candis Cayne. Cailtyn responded to the question with a laugh.
Kris and Caitlyn even ended their meeting with a kiss. Caitlyn surprised Kris with a friendly kiss on the cheek. The two women even posed for a selfie.
Although Caitlyn feels good about their current relationship, Kris admitted to People that it’s still a work in progress.
“I think everything takes a little bit of time. We’re still family. We still have kids together. And it will work itself out.”
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner finalized their divorce in December 2014, although they weren’t officially divorced until March 23, 2015 because of a six-month legal requirement. Kris filed for divorce in September 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple did not have a prenuptial agreement when they were married, but Kris agreed to keep the family home, while they divided their bank account and other assets, according to court documents.
Their relationship was particularly strained and tense since Caitlyn went public with her transformation from male to female earlier this year. Their sit-down conversation on I Am Cait was the first time that Kris had seen Caitlyn after her transition.
