‘Flipping Virgins’: HGTV Former ‘Property Virgins’ Expert, House Flipper Egypt Sherrod Makes Debut Tonight In New TV Show

Flipping Virgins is a new television series that makes its debut tonight on the HGTV channel. The leader in programming geared toward the home, HGTV will air the new show featuring expert Egypt Sherrod, a known house flipper who makes run-down fixer uppers look stunning. In tonight’s Flipping Virgins, HGTV watchers will learn how to find the perfect home, despite its current condition. Instead, she teaches the prospective home owners how to find the beauty in properties that may seem to be in poor condition. The home expert will also teach buyers how to scope out the best deal on properties, how to save money when they can, and how to profit big from their investment. The show is very similar to Property Virgins and Bravo’s Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis.

The beautiful Egypt Sherrod goes over some good points to remember when planning to flip a home. In an interview with HGTV, she gives viewers some important dos and don’ts. First, she says it’s best to look for home that are in decent areas. A second suggestion is to look for trendy shops to find unique items to make the home stand out. A buyer/flipper would always want to talk to a contractor. And most importantly — if it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it! Listen out for the warning signs and take heed. You don’t want to end up with a bad investment. There is also a time crunch. Sherrod advises buyers to get the house, flip it, and then let it go within 60 days.

Egypt Sherrod is a television and radio personality, as well as a published author. In addition to lending her expertise in property and real estate, she is also a motivational speaker, wife, and mother of two children, according to Essence. With over two decades in the business, fans can also keep up with Sherrod through her column with Atlanta Magazine.
