Kim Zolciak Fire: “Real Housewives” Star’s Garage Fire Engulfs an ATV

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak had quite the scare on Wednesday when an ATV parked in her garage caught fire and went up in flames.

While fire fighters were unable to salvage the four-wheeler, a spokesman for the Roswell City Fire Department outside Atlanta said authorities were able to extinguish the blaze before it had the chance to spread to other areas of the home.

The rep also added that no one was hurt as a result of the fire.

Zolciak, who is expecting her second child with husband and NFL player Kory Biermann, took to Twitter after the incident to thank the fire department for their efforts.

“Shout out to Roswell Fire Dept for their quick response this morning!God is always on my side! #grateful,” Kim wrote.

Zolciak and Bravo — who are currently working on season five of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which may include at least one new cast member after Sheree Whitfield announced her departure from the show earlier this year — have yet to indicate if the fire will be featured in an upcoming episode of of the show.

In addition to dealing with fires and starring in RHOA, Kim Zolciak can also be seen on her spinoff show “Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding” which revolves around the planning of her extravagant marriage ceremony to Kory Biermann in Oct. 2011.
