Britney Spears Date Night With Tycoon Harry Morton

Britney Spears has a new man in her life. The 33 year old singer was spotted at Iroha Sushi in Studio City on September 11 along with Harry Morton of Morton Steakhouse fame. The two were reportedly on a first date, according to TMZ, “but a date nonetheless.”

TMZ caught some candid shots of Britney and the restaurant mogul on their date.

Some Britney fans were more than a little surprised at the news that Britney and Harry are dating.

According to gossip site King Says, Morton “had been interested in” Spears “for a while.” The site speculates that the couple had a good time and there could be a future for Britney and Harry.

There’s no worries for Britney about Harry being after her money. With the Morton family fortune behind him, he has a plenty of his own. Fan Britney Jean Spears tweeted, “Harry Morton not need her money! Shut up haters. Go Britney!”

Harry is also good looking. One Twitter user noted, “oh my god he’s cute!” and another described him as a hottie.

Twitter user Joanna cleared up the mystery of how the two may have met. “For anyone wondering how Harry and Britney met,” she wrote, “Harry is friends with Cade.”

“Cade” is Cade Hudson, best buds with Brit’s ex-fiancee Jason Trawick. Britney and Cade were out on the town for Labor Day weekend, and the Daily Mail said she was “getting hands on” and “clinging on to him affectionately” as the two danced together at a Vegas club.

Looks like that was just friendship though, now that Britney and Harry are dating.

It’s also possible that the two ran into each other near Planet Hollywood, where Britney “just signed a $35 million extension” to her “Piece of Me” residency. Planet Hollywood is just down the street from The Pink Taco, Harry’s restaurant franchise.

Britney, a mother of two, has been single since June, when it was reported that she and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol had “called it quits” on their eight-month relationship.

Harry also once dated Lindsay Lohan, a relationship that ended with bad blood between the two. Harry accused Lindsay of taking revenge on him by flooding his West Hollywood condo.

Fans already like this relationship better than the Harry-Lindsay fiasco. Therey’re taking to Twitter to wish Britney and Harry good luck.
