Niall Horan and One Direction are preparing for their final North American tour concert in Boston on September 12, but it appears that in his next break from touring, Niall Horan will soon be fielding a significant amount of celebrity advice about his career.
While some celebrities will want him to take their warnings seriously, it is likely that Niall Horan will be spending a significant amount of time with friends and family back in Ireland during his next breaks — and giving showbiz a rest.
On September 2, the Ireland Independent reports that a friend close to Niall Horan stated, “Last time I checked he was in America and was having a grand time. He said he wants to get a place in Ireland next year. Not to necessarily spend all his time here, just to be in Ireland quite a bit.”
Niall Horan also recently broke his foot, and this may eventually be a reason that he will be spending more time in Ireland. J-14 reports on September 7 that Niall Horan made multiple posts about hurting his foot some time in the recent past, but he is still not sure how the incident occurred.
While having a broken foot may not be great for Niall Horan, the fact that it could anchor him in Ireland might be good news for his friend Eoghan McDermott.
The Ireland Herald reports on September 9 that sometimes McDermott hates the fact that people are always asking him about Niall Horan in his absence, and states the following.
“I went on Brendan O’Connor one time… I had some really good London stories and I thought that if he asked me ‘What are you up to at the moment?’ I could give him some really interesting stories. But all he asked me about was Niall Horan.”
Obviously, it can be a little stressful to be Niall Horan’s friend in Ireland when he isn’t really around to speak up for himself. Thankfully, Niall Horan will have time to spend with his friends during his One Direction break, and Duran Duran thinks this is a good idea.
Members of Duran Duran specifically single out Niall Horan and One Direction as a band that they see themselves in. Recently, they made a point of sharing with Niall Horan and 1D that the two bands have a similar history and stated the following to the Daily Star around September 10.
”Duran Duran were one of the first bands where everybody knew each member since The Beatles. Then you have the 1D member who is smoking dope in the back of a car, one member who leaves to live a so-called ‘normal life’. It’s a rerun of things that we did.”
On the other hand, Beatles drummer Ringo Starr has told Niall Horan that taking a break is not positive. Interestingly, Ringo Starr does not understand why Niall Horan would not want to follow the same grueling tour schedule that the Beatles had. In particular, Ringo talked about how the Beatles toured endlessly — but they loved it.
Design and Trend quotes Ringo Starr on September 10 saying the following about Niall Horan and the 1D 2016 break.
“We did not understand taking hiatus or holidays. We just kept on going, because we loved it. We loved to play and we loved to play live… We went to the recording studio when we’d got a bit crazy playing live.”
However, it appears that Niall Horan may be spending his time off from One Direction doing only what he loves outside of One Direction. For example, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, Niall Horan has talked about forming a band outside of One Direction.
Of course, Niall Horan may feel that he has little to worry about during his upcoming career outside of One Direction because he is a generous guy and has the right people looking out for him.
For instance, the Spec reports on September 10 that Liam Payne recently told Niall Horan that he would give him songs for free that he can use any way he likes. They quote Liam Payne saying, “When the other boys go solo I would love to write songs for them. I want to make great music that people want to listen to.”
Nevertheless, Liam Payne might find Niall Horan especially irresistible, since Niall is known for doing things, like giving away his guitar, for a good cause.
According to an Ireland Independent report from September 6, Niall Horan has donated his own guitar as an auction item to raise $1 million for a lung transplant for a toddler.
Naturally, Niall Horan may keep working on charity during his 1D hiatus because it has many happy returns for him. In particular, the Irish Mirror reports on September 10 that one of the fans Niall Horan visited during their cancer battle has made a full recovery despite the odds.
