Bill O’Reilly And Megyn Kelly Dish On Ben Carson And Donald Trump

Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly had a lot to say about the presidential candidates Thursday evening. O’Reilly began his show by talking about how Trump is still dominating the presidential race discussion. O’Reilly can be seen on a Fox News video clip discussing the major mistake he thinks Donald Trump has been making.

“First, Trump gets way too personal in defending himself against criticism,” OReilly explained.

He went on to discuss an interview with Rolling Stone where Trump made fun of Carly Fiorina’s looks. O’Reilly then summed up his opinion on Trump’s personal attacks.

“Personal attacks get a lot of attention. But Trump doesn’t need any more attention since everybody knows him.”

Bill O’Reilly made fun of Donald Trump for giving an interview with Rolling Stone, a magazine that is anything but sympathetic to anybody who is not a Democrat. He believes Trump needs to concentrate more on problem solving.

A YouTube video of The Kelly File shows Megyn Kelly talking about the war of words between Donald Trump and second-place candidate Dr. Ben Carson. Kelly didn’t seem to like that Trump made fun of Ben Carson’s medical credentials. She described Carson as a pediatric brain surgeon who has saved the lives of Catholic children.

Kelly played a video in which Ben Carson said he is different from Trump in that he knows where his success comes from and he doesn’t deny his faith in God. Then, she played a video in which Trump had some harsh words.

“I’ve known Ben Carson for a long time. I’ve never heard faith was a big thing until just recently.”

Trump then went on to accuse Carson of giving an insincere speech about humility, which sounded like he memorized it right before giving the speech. Trump also said Carson was just an “okay” doctor. Megyn Kelly, who has been ripped to shreds by Trump for asking what he believes were unethical questions during a Fox News Debate, obviously defended Ben Carson and talked about some of his major achievements.

Bill O’Reilly actually had Ben Carson on his show tonight and the transcripts from that interview quote Carson talking about the “faith” controversy.

“It was not my intention to impugn anyone’s religious beliefs. I am talking about myself and the fact that I am a very faith-based person. My success is because of my faith and my walk with the Lord, which probably differentiates me from a lot of people.”

Discussions about the presidential candidates will likely continue throughout the month on both Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly’s shows. Who do you think is the most objective host when talking about the candidates — Bill O’Reilly or Megyn Kelly? Let us know in the comments section.
